Some sources say 10 percent bigger (think 4.7- and 5.5-inch displays), while others are predicting up to 30 percent bigger (think display sizes approaching 6 inches). \n\n\n\n

Rumors suggest that Apple will replace Touch ID with facial recognition technology in upcoming iPhones. The Touch ID fingerprint scanner, which is used for unlocking phones and authorizing purchases, is becoming increasingly outdated. \n\n\n\n
Face recognition is easier and more accurate than fingerprint scanning and would not be affected by wet or dirty fingers. The move would mark a significant shift for Apple, which currently uses LCD technology in all of its iPhones. The OLED panels are expected to be used in higher-end models, however. Despite OLED\u2019s benefits\u2014which include deeper blacks and more vivid colors\u2014the displays tend to be slightly more expensive than LCD panels at present.\n\n\n\n

LCD Display is a backlight panel that shines through a layer of liquid crystals, it transforms electrical signals into light and then shows those lights on screen for us to see.
