King Charles Expresses His Stance on Prince Harry This Christmas Amid Ongoing Rift

When the royal family gathered for another Christmas, all eyes were on King Charles and his relationship with his youngest son Prince Harry.

For several months, there was a whisper about the growing contradiction between them, especially after the dramatic departure of Harry and Meghan Markle from the royal duties in 2020.

With the festive period usually being a time for family unity, many hoped to see a melting of cold relationships between his father and son. However, the recent speech of King Charles, according to royal experts, left little room for doubts about the current state of their relationship.

Tessa Dunlop, commentator and author, believes that despite the recent efforts to re-enjoy the relationship, the tension between his father and his son remains as strong as always. In his annual speech, Charles explained this by exclusion of Harry from his words, and the focus and consequences of this decision were not lost on royal observers.

While the king mentioned special things bout other family members, including his eldest son William and his beloved wife Camilla, Harry and his wife Meghan, they were strikingly absent from any confirmation. This exclusion only added fuel to speculation that the crack could be permanent.

King Charles sends a clear message about Prince Harry at Christmas

During his annual speech on Christmas Eve, King Charles revealed where his relationship with Prince Harry is currently standing according to the royal expert.

Reflection on traditional 15:00. The address on December 25, commentator and author Tessa Dunlop believes that the tension between his father and his son remains unresolved.

For the context, the Duke of SusS*x has been stolen from the royal family since 2020, when he and Meghan Markle retreated from their royal duties. The couple later moved to the US and complained about bad treatment of the British press by some higher members of the company.

In the following years, Harry made a number of controversial claims about his family, especially in his memoir and the document Netflix, which he created with Meghan. Among the accusations, he claimed that his brother William physically attacked him during a heated discussion about Meghan. He also claimed that Queen Camilla had released stories into the media and depicted King Charles as a distant and emotionally reserved.

Harry describes his father’s struggles with emotional intimacy and wrote:

“He had problems with communication, difficulty in trouble, problems with intimate face to face. Occasionally, after a long dinner with more courses, I walked up and found a letter on the pillow. The letter would say how proud of me for something I did or achieved.

I smiled, put him under the pillow, but I also wondered why he didn’t say it a moment ago while he was sitting directly in front of me. ”

After Charles officially appeared on the throne in May 2023, Harry made subtitles for his short visit to the coronation and let him return to the US, but when the news of the king’s diagnosis broke publicly, Harry publicly declared his intention to visit his father as much as possible.

Many royal observers hoped that this Christmas meant a turning point in a tense family relationship. According to Dunlop, however, the distance between Charles, Harry and Prince William remains significant.

Her justification? King of complete omission of Harry from his Christmas address.

During a pre -recorded speech from the London Chapel Fitzrovia 76 -year -old monarch, he appreciated the communities for their resistance in response to unrest at the beginning of the year. He also expressed gratitude for medical experts who treated himself and the princess of Wales in the middle of their relevant health battles.

In addition, Charles emphasized the contributions of his eldest son and heir, Prince William, who served food to a homeless person. Other members of the royal family, including Queen Camilla, Princess Anna and Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, were also recognized.

Especially absent in the speech, however, were any references to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

They were not alone in this exclusion – Prince Andrew, entangled in the scandal, was also omitted. Dunlop believes that these deliberately neglected signals that Charles firmly decided where SusS*xes were standing in the royal fold.

“Just like playing the famous hug of the King with the Rugby team of New Zealand,” she remarked, “there were Kate’s shots in Troow The Color, Camilla in Scotland and Australia, William, who served the homeless food and of course the royal Stalwarts, Princess Anne and Edinburgh’s.”

Dunlop came to the conclusion:

“It is important that Prince Andrew and Harry were not seen anywhere.” The king clearly decided how to “act for the good of all”, “decide to focus on the strengths of the family, not the weaknesses, strengthen the nation (and the world) on a difficult year in advance.”

In conclusion, the omission of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle from his annual Christmas speech speaks of the ongoing tension between the royal family and the SusS*xes. Despite the hope of reconciliation, especially after Harry’s public show of support during the health of his father, the rift seems to remain as wide as always. With the king, who decided to emphasize the family unity and strength, it is clear that Charles decided to focus on the main members of the royal family and left the SusS*xes – and other controversial characters.

When the royal family moves to the New Year, it remains to be seen whether any healing can take place or whether the distance between father and son will only grow.
